Alliance Addition: Building on the Success of Alliance Apartments
Aeon plans to construct an expansion to one of its successful existing properties in Minneapolis, the Alliance Apartments. Alliance Addition will provide 61 affordable apartment homes for formerly homeless adults.
Franklin Portland Gateway: Transforming an Urban Core
Through a partnership between Aeon and Hope Community, the intersection of Franklin and Portland Avenues will be completely transformed to feature more than 250 high-quality, mixed income apartments and townhomes, along with new retail businesses and community space.
The Landing: Meeting the need for affordable senior housing
Aeon will help meet the growing demand for senior housing by constructing a high quality, sustainable development in Chaska. The Landing will create 47 affordable one-bedroom apartment homes for seniors, offering Chaska residents the opportunity to age within the community.
Sienna Green: Preserving a Valuable Community Asset in Roseville
Located in Roseville, Sienna Green (formerly known as Har Mar Apartments) is Aeon's second suburban property. To improve the future viability of the struggling, outdated property, Aeon plans to rehabilitate the site's existing 120 units and construct an additional 50 units.
Old Third Townhomes: Creating a Residential Community
Old Third Avenue Townhomes is the last of a three-phase development bringing diverse housing options to a St. Anthony East neighborhood block that had long been underutilized. A partnership between Aeon and Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, Old Third Avenue Townhomes will offer homeownership opportunities for eight households earning low incomes.
Refinancing Aeon's Portfolio:Sustaining Community Assets
Aeon will refinance several properties in its portfolio in order to complete a moderate to substantial rehabilitation at each site. Aeon is committed to ensuring that its developments remain affordable and offer quality places to live. Preservation of existing properties, which are an integral part of the neighborhoods in which they are located, is more cost effective than constructing new buildings.
Renaissance Box: Creating a Downtown Home
Aeon plans to transform Renaissance Box – a vacant historic landmark – into a vibrant residential building offering 70 efficiency, one- and two-bedroom apartment homes. The property will offer a wide range of affordability, primarily for individuals working service sector jobs in downtown St. Paul.
