More than 30 people gathered recently to learn about Aeon's mission and tour The Wellstone Apartments - Aeon's newest development.
Mayor R.T. Rybak joined the group to show his support of Aeon's investment in the City of Minneapolis.
"My dad's drug store was about eight blocks away from here," said Mayor Rybak in reference to The Wellstone's location at the intersection of Franklin and Portland Avenues.
Mayor Rybak acknowledged that with developments like The Wellstone, the area has become safer and more of a community

"Aeon has great projects all over the city - and this is certainly one of them," the Mayor added.
The Wellstone is part of The Gateway, a partnership with Hope Community that transforms the intersection into a vibrant place to live and work.
