A holiday tradition unveils a spirit of generosity
The guests of Kathleen Murphy and Deb Thorp's annual holiday party never showed up empty handed. In lieu of a hostess gift, each guest brought an item to donate to Aeon.
 
"We celebrate the holidays by asking individuals to think about those who aren't as fortunate as we are," Murphy explained.

Bringing vitality to a blighted intersection  
Each day the bus drops off his children in front of his apartment at The Jourdain, Faysel Barqab is grateful for having a safe, affordable place to live.
 
Faysel's home is part of the Franklin Portland Gateway,  a development that transformed the formerly blighted intersection into a vibrant place to live and work.
