Help give Aeon residents a strong start in their new home by providing some of the items from our wish lists!
Even with affordable rent, some Aeon residents find it challenging to make their budgets stretch. They are forced to make difficult choices between food and health care, or food and school supplies. Residents who experienced homelessness often move into their new homes with few possessions, even the basic ones we may take for granted.
Consider hosting a donation drive at your office, place of worship or school to collect the following items.
Clean Start Baskets
Welcome a new resident – and give them a clean start in their new home – by providing toiletries, bed sheets and other household items.
Cleaning Kits
With the cost of food and transportation, cleaning supplies may fall to the bottom of list of items to purchase on a resident's monthly budget. These kits contain everything a resident needs to keep their home fresh and clean.
Food Shelf Stock-up
By stocking our small emergency food shelves, you give our residents a crucial source of nutrition and comfort when money runs short.
Gift Card Gathering
Gift cards allow our residents to meet their basic needs while having the dignity and freedom of doing their own shopping.
Winter Warm-up
Help our residents stay warm through the cold months by donating new winter clothing.
